Sau Samsung và Acer thì đã có thêm đối tác của Google là HP trình làng chiếc Chromebook mới mang tên Pavilion 14. Đây là chiếc máy tính đã rỏ rỉ thông tin trước đó chạy hệ điều hành trên nền tảng điện toán đám mây Chrome OS của Google. Theo như thông tin thì chiếc Chromebook này sẽ bắt đầu được bán ra chính thức từ ngày 17/2 tới với giá $330 USD thông qua website bán hàng HPDirect.com nhưng thật sự máy đã bán ra luôn từ hôm nay. Nhìn chung thì mức giá bán chiếc Chromebook này hơn cao hơn so với Samsung Chromebook ($249) hoặc Acer C7 ($199), mặc dù cấu hình cũng na ná chiếc Chromebook của Acer.

Pavilion 14 sẽ được trang bị bộ xử lý Intel Celeron 847 1.1GHz, 2GB RAM, 16GB bộ nhớ trong, màn hình rộng đến 14 inch có độ phân giải 1.366 x 768 pixel, miễn phí 100GB Google Drive trong 2 năm, thiết kế khá đẹp và mỏng chỉ 0,8 inch, hỗ trợ cổng HDMI, 3 cổng USB 2.0, cổng LAN, webcame HP TrueVision HD, đầu đọc thẻ nhớ SD. Tuy nhiên do màn hình rộng đến 14 inch nên thời gian dùng pin của máy chỉ đạt khoản 4 giờ liền.

MultiOS approach offers customers more choices
PALO ALTO, Calif., Feb. 4, 2013 - HP today announced its first Chromebook, widening the company's extensive PC and workstation portfolio and expanding its multiOS approach to offer customers more choices.
The HP Pavilion 14 Chromebook boasts a display that's approximately 2 inches wider (diagonally) than any other Chromebook in the market today. It provides a fast and easy gateway to a seamless Google experience with popular products like Search, Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive and Google+ Hangouts for multiperson video chat as well as access to apps in the Chrome Web Store.(1) A 14-inch diagonal design provides an ideal balance of mobility and comfort, while the HP BrightView display lets users see and surf easily.
